Does anybody know if MSN messenger has completely shut down now, I updated my computer and my MSN messenger has disappeared. Can use skype to chat still but just wanted to know if anybody elses has gone.

MSN is still there but they are getting rid of it, in the New Year I think. If you sign into skype with your msn ID all your contacts will be transfered across automatically

That happened ok but I noticed my msn messenger has now gone, my laptop must have deleted when I updated Skype, but it's all good cause we can still chat with people on that.

Think it is called Windows Live Messenger now and just re-download it put it into google and you'll find the link

I think now if its gone then you will get redirected to Skype, you sign into Skype with the same username and login as msn, and all your contacts copy across

think are msn is now called sky drive does anyone else use it
