"I just wondered, in these inflationary times that people would consider adding a few years to their age limit. I just turned 63 and getting squeezed out. I know lpts of you havent added the years to account for inflation. Make us old men happy or happier  
Personally I don’t have sex with people older than my parents so my limits are there for a reason "
My mother died at 36 so I'd have to pass on that rule |

Hahaha
We find 10 yrs older or younger (loose guide) is who we most relate to and have best chance of clicking with. Certainly, experience has taught us that 13-15 yrs and over is a low percentage game - nothing personal on any particular members, just find our time and effort better directed to closer age groups. |

Certainly, experience has taught us that 13-15 yrs and over is a low percentage game - nothing personal on any particular members, just find our time and effort better directed to closer age groups."
We kinda have the same age scope (10 years either way). Makes it easier conversationally and makes it more likely that there are similar interests/experiences/pop-culture references |

The use of the term inflation does not accurately describe the issue in question; a more appropriate term would be STAGFLATION: a combination of both inflation and high unemployment, specifically where one's services are redundant-no longer in demand!
This was the economic reality that obtained in the early 1970s, which, those of us of a certain vintage, who may now be experiencing on this site well remember.
To avoid obscelescence all products need to be periodically upgraded with new features, to appeal to younger, more discerning consumers. C'est la vie! |
