Newry Down |
I was in a cafe in Botanic Avenue, Belfast this afternoon, and I thought my head was going to blow.
I had to get up to Botanic Park, into the shade of a tree beside the glasshouse
It was intolerably hot and no wind whatsoever.
Maybe Monday will bring a change, and some badly needed precipitation! |

"Bedroom fans. The only way
Have to agree."
If no fan ...
Close all upstairs windows and keep blinds down/curtains closed by day, then open wide (the windows) in the evening when cooler. Keep slightly open during the night and sleep scantily clad
Or .... sleep in the nip under the stars |

Agreed. Do e this today and yesterday and it made a big difference.
Also...a bottle of frozen water tied behind the fan gives lovely cold air |

Maybe I should give him a wand and I’ll get what I want and maybe a pair of glasses |
