Dated a guy years ago who had this problem.... It was never really an issue for me, but he was so self conscious and constantly bringing it up and apologising it eventually just put me off and we split up. He made it into a big deal, which I appreciate it obviously was for him, but I also think because he obsessed about it so much it actually made the problem worse. |

Massive issue for a lot of men, more spread among the male population that people would be aware.
Very damaging to the man self esteem and confidence.
I think every woman I've met so far, has mentioned more than one occurrence in their sexual life and most of them were sort of a "game over" scenario once the man ejaculated, leaving the woman in limbo.
Most of the guys in their prime, early 30s, good looking....but absolutely not able to handle the situation in a better way, knowing exactly the outcome.

It's a quite common problem and of course it can happen. I would think though or even expect when someone is aware of the issue and it's a reoccuring thing that different ways/techniques are explored to gain control over it rather than just accepting it or even celebrate it. Just my 2 cents. |

I am not ashamed to say that I have experienced this (and no doubt will do again in the future) and I reckon most men have too but few speak out about it so fair play to you OP for being open and honest.
It is a discussion worth having. As mentioned already, the macho man nonsense is toxic and if find yourself in a situation where your partner responds unkindly in anyway you have just learned that you should never have been intimate with them in the first place.
The important thing is to take the taboo out of the situation and talk about it. Speak with partners. Speak with your mates. Speak with fellow Fabbers. Speak with our doctor if we feel the need to.
Communication is most important.
It is not about when you score the winning goal. That can happen in the first or last minute or even in extra time or the reply. It is about staying committed for the full match. Sometimes we wont even score at all (which can be much more awkward) and besides, we can always set up a goal or even a hat-trick for somebody else.
There is nothing to be ashamed of.

I would say it has happened to every man at some stage and it truly is nothing to be ashamed of. Can be a factor on many different circumstances. It has happened to myself before and could very well again happen. |
