Newry Down

I'm going out walking, with a wide-brimmed hat, a long-sleeved shirt, long trousers, wraparound glasses and lots of water!

No SPF; I really hate the stuff.

on the hill NordWest of

Just have 3 days of 35 degrees behind me, so 25ish will feel like a fresh breeze.

i travel all over

Having been away I am actually over very hot weather at this point (past 25 degrees). Just means burnt skin and poor sleep . The whole climate change thing is the elephant in the room as well . Give me 22 degrees and I ll be happy .

That said I haven’t made it to glassilaun this summer and it’s world class on a good day . So might do that

Newry Down

The manifestation of climate change by way of drought conditions and higher average temperatures has come to fruition, even more quickly that Lovelace (Gaia hypothesis) apocalyptically predicted.

Nope. Just fix the pool out the back garden for the kids, sort out the umbrella and plonk my butt down on a blanket and not move. Until the kids splash me anyway which is usually about 30 seconds in of me lyin down

Yeah I saw the sign too. Didn't stop 9 tents (including mine!) camping there though a few weeks back!

Am I the only one who doesn't like the heat, can't cope with it, can't sleep at night, 5 showers a day. So not a fan of heatwaves. Give me 15/16 degrees all day long

I hate working in it. If I could laze around in shorts and flip flops all day no problem or spend the day in a pool /sea or water park. When u have to get on with normal life it’s not nice .
