I lived in Belfast for many years before moving to north-west England 15 years ago. I'm surrounded by clubs here - Manchester, Blackpool, Liverpool, Chorley, Bury, Rochdale - all over the place - and many of them are fabulous places for fun. But in Belfast I used to host little house parties using Fab and AFF. They were OK but a lot of people didn't quite know what to do or how to behave in the situation. I found that smaller groups - half-a-dozen or so - tended to more interested in getting down to playing than did larger groups. But the message is, if you can host small events then there's a lot of people would be interested. |

I have tried hosting both large and small ones there doesn't seem to be the interest people too worried about who is coming and who isn't though I did manage to host a small gathering of about 20 2wks ago I just find people across the water are far more open minded |

I have always fancied the thought off attending cupids at some stage and hopefully that will become a reality as I'm planning on going to Manchester over the next couple of weeks. Can anyone confirm but i believe that the club is a little bit outside of Manchester? |

It's in the suburb of Swinton, a few miles from the city centre but easily accessible by tram, taxi, train, etc. If you imagine Manchester as a clock face, Swinton's at about 10. I have to say that the best club night I've ever had was at Cupids...! |
