Similar to la carte... my two sisters know, its more of a safety measure because as a single girl you can't be too careful. And it didn't surprise them either |

Think couples are probably different to single people ...they have someone to discuss stuff with
Single people probably have a least one friend or family member that they let know as a safety measure.
I had _ vanilla friend that I'd tell where I was going for meets but that stopped once I learned more about the way things work but they know I'm on here
If I wanted to discuss a problem about something fab related I'd talk to my friends that I met on fab

My best mate is a site member and knows I am here too. We had a coffee meet together with a wonderful lady on Monday of this week. My brother is aware of me being on here too. |

My best mate knows I'm on here in fact she was the one who told me about fab and my sister knows as well.Apart from that it's no one else's business I tend to keep here and my life outside of here separate. |

No one outside of fab knows on on here it can be quite hard as a single woman as if you are a couple you have someone to discuss things with but I have been very lucky in that I have quite a few friends on here that I know I can pm anytime I need to for advice which always helps I'm not ashamed of being on here I just don't see that if is any of my family or vanilla friends business |

Currently, no-one within my circle of friends and acquaintances is aware of my lifestyle choice, but I would have no problem about discussing this if I thought that the other person was mature enough to understand.
Irish society is maturing, albeit slowly, in matters of sexual morality.
I think an increasing number of people would be accepting, so long as no-one was being harmed in the process, or was being coerced by a partner, to take one for the team! |

I'm very open about my life the vast majority of the time. I don't throw it in people's faces but most of my friends know. My mam refers to all of my online shinanigans as "tinder". It's adorable. Out of respect; she doesn't know everything, not even close, but she has an idea. I'm a lone wolf. I don't share the secrets or identities of those I meet but I'm happy to discuss and explain my life to those who are curious. |

My family know I'm polyamorous, but they don't know all that entails for me.
Some friends have an idea of the lifestyle I lead, bcos I've told them a few things (maintaining others' anonymity), but not everything. |
