From the lounge
Do you do or like anything that’s generally frowned upon ? Pineapple on Pizza ? Marmite ? Milk in tea before the tea bag ? What are your weird and wonderful passions ?
One thing my friends despair of Is that I never drink pints . Not on March the 17th or ever |

A sprinkling of sugar on toast with peanut butter...
A sprinkling of sugar on grated carrots...
Definitely pineapple on pizza ...
I have been "re-educated" by my better half on not adding milk to the tea before the bag has been removed (whatever the flippin' difference it makes but sshhh, when he's not looking, feck that )... |

Society is slipping, the standard of tea making on here is woeful, scald the pot, add tea leaves and freshly boiled well water, let it brew for at least 5 minutes and use as little milk as possible. |

"Corned beef and brown sauce sandwiches "
The square corned beef from the deli counter with chef brown sauce used to be a favorite of mine or sliced beetroot sandwiches with a sprinkle of Aromat |

Pineapple on pizza is nice, as long as there is no ham involved.
I like ham and cheese sandwiches, ham and turkey at Christmas and a ham and cheese panini (covering all the hot/cold and with/without cheese variations), but on pizza it's always disgusting. |

"Brussels sprouts dipped in cheese fondue tastes better than it sounds.
Italian antipasti for breakfast.
I think Brussel sprouts dipped in literally anything will improve the taste "
Marmite? |

Guinness and smith wicks mixed… a Black and Tan.
Ham and pineapple pizza
Cabbage and spuds mixed together , form a hole in middle , pour milk in and mix it all together
All of the above will never touch my lips lol |

"I don't drink tea and am seen as some sort of outcast by many.
I don’t drink tea or coffee so apparently I’m even weirder "
I drink coffee. The no tea or alcohol combo raises eyebrows. |

"I like German white wine ....Liebfraumilch especially Black Tower "
In any fine-dining restaurant, asking for Black Tower, or worse still, Blue Nun, could result in the sommelier asking for your removal!

"Tayto crisps are absolutely muck"
Well, the variety of cheese and onion that is sold south of the border, and on cross-border trains certainly is.
Tayto crisps that are manufactured in Tandragee county Armagh are a vastly superior product!
The literal translation of Tandragee is: ass to the wind! |

I can’t stand powdered custard, curry and gravy. I think they are a crime to the culinary roots. Another is tomato sauce for pasta or pizza. It has to be homemade or won’t touch it. |
