Dublin

Best: nothing comes to mind so obviously I haven't been blown away by any performance yet

Worst: Christy Moore, he got all uptight about the audience singing along - followed very closely by U2...very disappointing

Surprising: Dave Matthews band in the Boxing arena springs to mind as I type, actually the best performance I ever saw so scrap above comment.

Loughlinstown

BEST - U2 Popmart (my first U2 experience)

WORST - Oasis in Point Depot (at the time) They were billed as the greatest band since The Beatles. Ehh no!

SURPRISING - Brian Kennedy at Olympia. I wasen't a fan and got dragged along by my Ex. Brian apologised to all the men there who were brought by their gf's and then gave a concert that was a combo of great singing and stand up comedy. Great guy!

Limerick

BEST- The Foo Fighters- Anywhere, still hoping for tickets to Wembley in September for Taylor's tribute concert, so if anyone is selling tickets send them our way.

WORST- Madonna, Slane, got gifted corporate tickets the night before and said 'why not'! Jesus, that was a long, wet, boring day

SURPRISING- Robbie Williams, what an entertainer and his voice has improved over the years. Would never turn down an opportunity to see him live. Would have booked to see him in October, but we are away...

Best

Coldplay in Croke Park...Band at the top of their powers. Audience were so glad to be there to see and hear an incredible show

Still look at clips on Youtube

Worse

The Nolan sisters....most of the audience were d*unk women who couldn't walk or make it to the toilets in time

Surprising

Paul Mc Cartney...He walked into the room with about 50 of us in it.Told us to stop what we were doing and to listen to him play a few songs on the piano....incredible

That metallica concert is in my top 5, tenacious D were great too. But the 2 hour wait in the car park afterwards definitely wasn't
