Sometimes people don't want to say 'you're not my type' as it can be awkward & what not for various reasons.

I'm not justifying it nor am I saying it's rude.

I wouldn't let it get to you tho. Different strokes for different folks & all that jazz

This is true,ive been blocked and ive met people after sending face pic,thats the chance you take x

Saying "not my type" should never be awkward...its just starting the facts honestly and is maybe less personal than saying you don't like something in their profile such as age or relationship status or their pics.

Honesty is the best policy.

Saying not my type is usually followed with why not and give me a chance you won't regret it etc . Some even resort to nasty comments when rejected. So a block or not replying is always easier.
