Psychologically, she would have been easily coerced and manipulated into doing Epstein's bidding, having been raised in a highly dysfunctional family that was headed by her father, Robert Maxwell, which was not his real name, but one he adopted during WW two.

Epstein's victims should gain some satisfaction from Ghislaine's sentence and conviction. She was a willing pawn in a very dirty game.

Her imprisonment will send shockwaves through the corrupt upper echelon of American and British societies.

Ghislaine was the name of the superyacht, owned by her father, from which he drowned by suicide, over thirty years ago. His uppercrust English accent was a carefully crafted affectation; he was actually Czechoslovakian and worked for British Intelligence during the war: one of most corrupt industrialists ever to have been granted British citizenship.

Robert Maxwell was an abuser and manipulator par excellence, who denigrated his family on a daily basis, including his daughter Ghislaine.

Being coerced and manipulated into doing Epstein's bidding doesnt make her any less guilty of her crimes, she obviously knew what she was doing was wrong but make a choice to continue. She is guilty of coercing and manipulating other young girls so there is no excuses for her actions.

It really is a sad story all round. After dealing with nasty manipulating father, she found herself another nasty manipulating partner in crime, who manipulated her into servicing his need. A lesson in the corrupting ability of money, power, and warped sexuality. I'm sad for her, her family, the victims, their families. It's a mess with no winners.

Much less the fact she's being houses in one of the nicer prisons where she has access to things like a running track, a library, gardening and various other programs.

Although justice seems served, she knows way too much, royalty, presidents, actors. You really think only one girl Virginia Roberts was the only one to come forward, Andy got away with it, refused to co-operate with the Americans investigation into epstein, and paid off a woman he claimed never heard of or seen. The higher ranks of society who know Epstein must be shitting a brick

No justice has been served here at all. Any sympathies for her privileged past are irrelevant.

She procured girls to be sexually abused. She has not named a single abuser.

20yrs will be halved and she will see out her privileged life.

The upper echelons of American and British elite are not shook by this. It is exactly how this was supposed to playout!

"Justice will be served when all her and epsteins "clients" get jailed as well"

Amen

Totally agree.

This has to come, but probably just the people on deaths door or who have already died will be thrown under the bus to make it seem like they are doing something and the rest of the contents of the not so little black book will carry on, business as usual.

You would have thought that she would have spilled beans on the Rich list before she was sentenced. It doesn’t look like there was any kind of deal done. Surely if she knew that top vips were involved she would have said!

She just turned 60, she'll be out before 70 to enjoy the rest of her life, maybe even earlier.

She is morally corrupt, to her it's not worth the trials she'd have enough endure!

The whole thing stinks too me, she probably get parole and be out give or take 10 yrs, she keeping tip liped or she will go overboard on some boat like her father as a suspected suicide
