Booked a hotel last year for a concert at an agreed price for June 24 they emailed Tuesday and canceled we all know why after the tax system took care of them during covid and they have vat reduction for years what kind of a government do we have that allowed this

Did they give a reason or is it a hotel where rooms are being used for housing? They may now be overbooked due to people being longer term housed in rooms

Hotels are private companies not government entities. They can price and allocate rooms as they want.

Not actually a pay rise though? Is it not a reinstatement of a previous pay cut to what they were contracted to? Correct me if wrong

So logically they must be going to abolish USC as that was just a “temporary” tax for the recession recovery
