The film with the greatest soundtrack of all time is the incomparable 1973 classic:
American Graffiti with Harrison Ford, Ronnie Howard, Richard Dreyfuss and Wolfman Jack, amongst many others! |

Stanley Kubrick's seminal, stunning, almost totally incomprehensible, avant-garde 1968 masterpiece, 2001 A Space Odyssey, is light years ahead of the much-vaunted Star Wars franchise, in every respect.
The music is stunning too. |

If you have an interest in classical music, as I have, a film from 1970, called Song of Norway, which portrays the life of the Norwegian composer, Edvard Hagerup Grieg, may be of interest.
Grieg's most well known piece of music, which you will instantly recognise, even if you don't know the composer, is Morning from his Peer Gynt suite, which accurately portrays the rising sun coming up over the horizon.
The main actor in Song of Norway, from memory, was the famous English actor, Sir Ralph Richardson, but I may be wrong. |
