"hopefully there's a season 2 "
I think a series about Vader or Reva is more likely, though I think we'll probably just see Vader in the Ahsoka series, rather than headlining his own show. There's a risk of over-exposure. I wouldn't be surprised to see Roken or Haja in the forthcoming Andor series.
As to Kenobi himself, I guess it's possible that he did more clandestine adventures for the rebellion or Bail Organa in the years leading up to ANH. But I think the final scenes between him and Vader in this series were a perfect way to leave it until they met for the final time on the Death Star - any further encounters between them would be ripping the arse out of it. |

"Right maybe I don't pay too much attention...but why do Luke and Leia not remember meeting Obi Wan previously when it gets to the films. "
I don't think that's quite correct. When Luke tells Leia that he's here to rescue her, she looks quite excited and says 'Ben Kenobi is here?' or something like that.
Kenobi having met and saved Leia also explains why Leia and Han named their son Ben (which seemed to irk a lot of people until now).
When Luke sees the message from Leia, he says "Well, I don't know anyone named Obi-Wan, but old Ben lives out beyond the dune sea. He's kind of a strange old hermit." He later asks Uncle Owen if he thinks that R2 might have meant Ben.
You wouldn't necessarily expect him to say to a droid'Oh yeah, when I was about 10, my uncle introduced me to him and he gave me this model spaceship.' |

I really enjoyed the final episode.
I was disappointed with the series; was the same old generic action in the previous episodes, but the final episode was great IMO.
I hope Star Wars gets away from the established film timeline & give us series/movies set in The Old Republic

I agree. Fortunately, it looks like we're being listened to. Taika Waititi has said that he wants to get away from established characters with his SW film. There's also a Tales of the Jedi animated anthology series, which will largely be set before TPM. Finally, there's a live-action series called The Acolyte, which will be set in the final days of the High Republic. |
