I can really recommend a place near Iquitos called Dreamglade if you are going to South America.
I sat with Acacia Confusa for two ceremonies in India also. Very similar to Aya.
Key word is Surrender.
Just let whatever is happening happen. Easier said than done- as humans we try to control every aspect of our lives.
Some Aya comes in waves so I just found myself riding the waves and using the gaps in between to give myself pep talks to prepare for the next wave ha ha.
There's no one experience with this medicine however. Ten people will usually have ten different experiences.
Another thing: try and get your bearings before lights out. I got lost so many times trying to make it back to my bed area from the toilet |

Have had amazing life-changing times with psychedelics... but I feel I'm done with that at this stage of life.
If I felt the need again then there are ways to have powerful experiences without the purging.
I hope you have a hurt experience though. |

Agreed. There are many different ways to get to the same destination:
For me 5 MEO DMT was the one
I never purged on Aya, nor Kambo actually. Most people do. |

Just looked it up. Very interesting. Have done magic mush a few times years ago, fantastic fun from them, unforgettable.
Is this available in Ireland or do you have to go abroad? |

"You make it back from that trip yet mate?"
That poor man is quite possibly in a corner of some Amazonian sweat lodge shitting into a bucket while the "Shaman" rifles through his back pack.
May the God's have mercy on his soul. |

Hey Houdini, was the place you went in Ireland? I’ve been reading into it over the last few months as well.
A friend went to one in Luxembourg and said it was incredible |

"Great stuff. Are you going to Iquitos?"
Going to Kawsay in Iquitos. It was the one that was recommended last weekend.
A little background I went to this on the advice of a friend as I am diagnosed PTSD and in turn I suffer from anxiety.
I looked into everything that could help me and a friend told me of the retreats. I wouldn’t usually be a spiritual guy and was apprehensive but open minded.
Friday night we arrived late and we went to a ceremony which was like an initiation but they were personalising our plant treatments and our first journey into another dimension next morning we had access to our phone for an hour then back out into 2 ceremonies ran by shaman, he then introduced us to healing rituals used by indigenous people. Again our plant treatment took us away, the level of contentment happiness and loss of anxiety and worry and concern I felt over the next 24 hours was like nothing I ever experienced.
I feel I have left the retreatement a different person. I can’t explain how or why I just feel it it’s the strangest thing to ever happen to me but at the same time by the far the greatest release I’ve ever had from PTSD |

I have tried mainstream drugs and treatment for PTSD and they have worked for the most part. But there is always that "thing" in the background I just can't shake.
Heard about this type of retreat on Jocko Podcast but didn't think there would be an option in Ireland....interesting. |

Mate I have suffered PTSD since I was 19 have never really had a moments peace cause the constant whir in my mind that leads to crippling anxiety. Since entering the retreat center I haven’t had a single moment( they were daily)
Now I feel like I’ve never felt before. |

I'm glad you had a good experience with the medicine.
I'll pm you about Iquitos later. That's presuming you haven't been there before? |
