But if "mother nature" is the reason for cancelling or postponing a meet, it's very much a case of giving "the benefit of the doubt".
Giving the benefit of the doubt can also be said for someone who says they have been called into work or if a family emergency happens.
The best one I have heard though was a few years ago. Arranged a meet with a the same person on 3 separate occasions, and all 3 times his dog had run off....the person didn't even have a dog! |

I'd agree to a degree. For example there was a thread a few months ago judging someone for their specific kink. The OP had blasted said kink and many others made fun of it. That in our opinion is kink shaming. The same OP has called numerous others on this forum judgemental because they don't agree ethically to something they and do are doing on here. |

That was my point tbh. People have blind spots to their own actions.
Especially those that can actually harm others unlike ethical kinks for instance.
They usually use lines like "I thought fab was an open minded place" on one thread while ewwwwing at watersports on another |

Some are I would say to varying degrees.
To be fair we all have somewhat of a sliding scale of morality and judgement. I definitely have contradictions in my view of the world.

I'm reading comments in this thread that people have written without even the slightest hint of irony where I know for a fact they are describing their own modus operandi.
I can only assume they are fully aware of what they have said but believe that others are either not paying attention or couldn't give a damn. |
