Listening to the radio and an "expert" has said that between 30 & 40% of couples sleep apart.
That figure surprised me.
If/when you are part of a couple would you be a separate sleeper? Or are you a snuggle bunny? |

I'm a snuggle bunny through and through!!! I hate sleeping alone (Just think of all those closet monsters and serial killers on the prowl!).
I hate it when he sleeps in his boxers too
My parents are happy as ever (over 50 years married) but have been in separate bedrooms for years... snoring, different sleeping patterns, health issues which get them up etc so I can understand why some choose to have their own bedroom (if the space is there) for that reason. |

Absolutely hate snuggling for sleep reasons with someone. Can’t do it. Suffer from woeful insomnia at the best of times. Would much to prefer to sleep on my own. |

We can't sleep apart. After so many years together it just doesn't work, terrible sleep with both of us awake on and off through the night. Neither of us snore though but if we did, things might be a bit different, we like our silence |

We don't like sleeping alone, but the odd time if one is up earlier or sickness something like that.
As for snuggling, maybe before sleep and again in the morning...But otherwise, get over your own side!! |

"I'd be a separate sleeper, doesn't mean every night and nothing wrong with cuddling but I sleep much better without interference and I need my own space. "
This is me also. I love after sex snuggles but I bail out to my own quarters when I'm ready to sleep. |

"It also depends on how big or where the wet patch is
On your side, duh
The who gets what side of the bed before the wet patch is a different argument altogether "
That’s a thread in it self |

My wife and I have been married for 22 years and for the last 11 we’ve slept apart but I got the couch. I haven’t slept all night in a bed in 10 yrs. I heavily snore, she snores, gets too hot and stole the quilt.
She also has issues.
With my first wife we always slept together naked and I sooo miss it |

I sleep alone most of the time but it's really nice to snuggle up with someone at other times .Mind you I don't think they get a lot of sleep for all the wrong reasons as I tend to snore at times or so I've been told |

Definitely would be a separate sleeper. I find it very difficult to sleep with someone beside me. The lack of space sns the additional heat are the two factors that disturb me.
One she's finished sucking me off it's into the spare room with her. |
