Ladies, Gentlemen and those who do not subscribe to Either or Both Labels,
I'm curious as to the quorum's feelings on women removing all of their pubic hair.
Naturally we're all aware that this has become the 'norm' rather than the exception (one only has to gander at the range of beautiful female genitalia on display on this very site) but recently I got into a discussion with a lady who argued that the removal of pubic hair only sought to infantilize women... to give them the appearance of pre-pubescence & that those men wh9 who enjoyed this appearance should examine themselves as to why.... 
This is NOT a theory I subscribe to...
Just curious as to what the forum thinks the wide spread (chortle) appeal of a shaved/waxed/lasered vagina is?!

The human body is changing and evolving…as it always has. We had body hair to help keep us clean. We don’t need pubic hair anymore really (well most of us) so who knows will we even have pubic hair in years to come |

That's not fully true. They're not more hygienic. Less of a chance of pubic lice but other than that there's no benefit other than personal preference, and many potential pitfalls in the way of skin to skin transmission of certain STIs. |

I used to wax but kept getting these ingrown hairs, unpleasant and slow to heal. Looked like I had measles of the balls so I’ve stopped. Just trim in shower now. However I hate the hairs in the crack of my ass, impossible to trim!! Help!! |

I guess a shave can give a pussy that rejuvenation look especially with an old fanny like mine - the portal to O'Connell street. 
Although to suggest that the bald pussy look is soley paedo driven is a bit far fetched imo.

I am very much usually against the idea of over preparing . I historically would have viewed waxing/shaving a bit like the old wet suit/swimming gloves and socks . I prefer jumping right in (a bit of a trim no more). But you know , recently I have become acquainted with a lady who lasers meticulously and it’s quite an interesting change . Ultimately it’s a preference no more . As other posters have said there is a higher risk of STIs when shaved . I don’t subscribe to the infantilising theory . Some people don’t like a big bush that’s all

I dont think your correct in attributing women choosing to shave being dictated by men, as with most fashion/makup etc choices its generally peer pressure from other women which drives the choice not something thats dictated by men. I certainty never made any suggestions to a partner to shave or otherwise nor do i know any man who has. |
