There are a few items online that are genuinely Irish in origin, and many that are labeled as being home-grown, but are definitely not.
Internationally, the porn industry is principally controlled by The Mob, Mafia, Cosa Nostra, Camorra to use a few different titles for a broad range of criminal entities in various jurisdictions worldwide.
The most extreme material, involving death (Snuff movies) animals, etc probably originates in Asia and South America.
Porn usually requires a cheap supply of easily exploitable fodder; the market in Ireland is too small to be economically viable. |

Charles J Haughey, former Taoiseach and former accountant (Haughey Boland and Co) brought in a tax incentive scheme for artists, including painters, sculptors, etc., as best I can recall; that was decades ago! |
