I think a part of my childhood just died. Neighbors had pampas grass. I used to play with their son. Thing is. I knew they would be having a get together because my friend would tell me he was going to his grandparents for the weekend. Up till now. I always believed his explanation. That his parents did not like their children around all these people drinking. |

If a lady placed a packet of OMO washing powder in a front window of the house this was supposed to be read as: Old man out and on my own! My door is open, come inside.

I've heard of this before but I'd wager a very small proportion of those who were ankle bracelets actually wear for this reason. I certainly wouldn't be approaching a stranger on this basis. |
