With lots of the low cost hotels now catering for Ukrainian refugees its becoming increasingly difficult to find venues for parties. We have spoken to lots of couples on this subject and it's a widespread problem unfortunately. A quick search on Airbnb highlights the issue. Using 2 filters (whole house & At least 4 adults) in County Cork. We found 3 properties costing €537, €552 & €4108.
So we are just putting it out there is there anyone willing to host or know of any venues that can. Ideally we are looking at a a 3/5 bed house minimum with the capacity to host 15/25 people. It's a long shot but who knows? |

Watch out.
Maximum amount of guests on Airbnb is 16.
Many renters will have properties that can hold a lot more than 16 but will ask you to pay extra for each additional person.
We were searching for a property a while ago, seemed to have found a perfect one and got plastered with over 1k above the advertised price.

Thanks guys for the heads up but even if we had a party of 25 it's highly unlikely that any more than 16 would stay over. I think the bigger issue is finding one that allows parties in the first place. I guess we were really putting it out there enquiring about fabbers hosting themselves and charging accordingly. We've done that a few times in the past |
