So my partner and I came across the topic of dogging and there seem to be diverging opinions on what it actually entails.
In porn, what you mostly see when searching for the term, is one or more women getting it on with many guys in a public setting, usually a parking lot at night. So we were both under the impression it means "a public gangbang with strangers".
However when I talked about it with my last casual encounter, she thought it was two people having sex in a car, while other people stood around and watched.
Urban Dictionary seems to support both those definitions to some extent.
But what does it mean for you if you tick that box on your profile or see other people having it ticked? |

Dogging is going to a dogging spot and expecting to find others there ready to show or invite participation in a sexual act. There are signals like opening a car window which invites touching, or turning on car light which invited observation. It was very popular in the early 2000s and was spontaneous not prearranged.
These days many people call any kind of prearranged outdoor meet dogging. |
