Without looking up all the actual names and trying to copy and paste....here's a few interesting places for me personally when I'm in Barcelona
Parc Güell
Three art museums
The port Area
La Rambla
The market on La Rambla
The cathedral
The nude beach
Your best bet is to buy a ticket for the open top bus tours where you jump on and off at designated points of interest
They give you free maps and well worth the money

So many amazing places:
Parc Guell
Sagrada Familia
The Magic Fountains Montjuic
Take a cable car from Monjuic
Gotic Quarter - Cathedral has stunning views of the city
Barceloneta - great seafood restaurants and the beach
Port Olympic - lots of bars/clubs but quite expensive and dress up
Best way to see the city (as it's huge) take the hop on/hop off buses from Placa Catalunya
Las Ramblas if heading down the street from Placa Catalunya towards the sea stay to left hand side (Gothic Quarter) the side streets behind the Church and the Market on right hand side are quite dangerous. As with all big cities plenty of pick pockets.
Enjoy...can't wait to visit again next month. One of my favourite cities! I've lost count of the amount of times I've visited!

Las Ramblas at night is a lot different than during the day, keep your wits about you.
Apart from that it's a hell of a city. Remember that bars, restaurants etc don't really get going till late, around 10 at night. |

We had a very good time in Charlie Privee if your conception of hanging out includes swingers' clubs. If you search for them, their website (in Spanish) has all the details about prices, opening hours and theme nights. |

Beside the wax museum a bar called El Bosq de Las Fades I wouldn't normally recommend an Irish Pub abroad but Michael Collins beside Sagrada Famila (coming out after a few drinks and seeing Sagrada Famila lit up is amazing) |
