OK I've thought this for a long time and have to ask. I comment of forums the odd time but usually when I do the tread ends. My question is why? Am I just late to the party or am I missing something. Generally want to know |

I have a knack too.
I suspect it’s being a bit late to the party as FBs guts of the thread has already run and also not actually being very funny. I’m frequently told I’m hilarious but it does not translate to the forums. AT all. |

Maybe it's the forum set-up?
Does anyone ever tried the Irish room in the chat? I, personally, am finding it more lively and more immediate, than browsing through the forum, if that makes sense?
Mind you, sometimes there's 15 people in and all are afraid to even say 'hello'

That's good if it's getting better!! Last time I was there it was dead. In the old days it was hopping. Might check it out again. Does it work on a tablet cam? |

Well, it's only as good, vibrant and lively as are people in the room.
As I've said, if one is trying to strike conversation, about anything, pretty much and no-one replies, but waiting for some miracle from above, that some hot-member will send a PM...
I'll take the chat for what it is, just yapping rubbish, really No place to impress anyone.
...and yes, I think, the cams work on tablet now too. Should I book the front row so? |

That’s me too. I stopped coming on to the forum for that reason! Time to try it out again…
Btw, Bogman is the least rude man on here. He’s honest funny & a great listener. That last comment from him, is his dry wit. Sarcasm at its best… |

This is true he is, it's hard to tell with sarcasm though i think. I know for me i am not sure what kind of humour i have but it's great when someone gets it. I've been told i have a dry sense if humour but sarcasm not to sure about that at times, i try to watch it so i don't offend someone to much. |

I remember how much craic the Irish chat room used to be. It has changed over the last few years and I have to say quite clicky as in the same folk talk to each other and even if you say hi or hello and try to start a conversation you are invariably ignored.
Same as in the forums really.
