So I've been talking to a few people at events on how to spice up socials and split up groups.
I think the format we thought about was speed dating but just for a social, where you can pick by preferences who see you on the night.
How would people feel about that type of event? And does anyone have any other ideas?

Surely is a great idea but the orginisation would be massive on ur part the premutations are endless maybe if ye as orginisers suggested catogeries fir participants to choose it make yer work easier |

Been to a speed dating event abd it was dreadful, after the first guy, all the guys just got up and chatted to whoever they wanted.
Was at an Indian taster social organised by a fabber a d it was a great take on speed dating, tables of 4 people when you came in you got a table number abd sat there after the first course you picked again and moved to a different table and each course you moved, it was a great night a d probably the only social where I got chatting to everyone. After the restaurant we moved to a pub. Was well organised and everyone that attended thought it was great |
