Jubal was the eponymous title of a 1956 film, the year of my emergence, that dealt with the challenges faced by an intuitive and intelligent ranchhand who had the choice of two women: one who is genuine caring and with strong ties to her family, the other an unhappy bride who was a gold digger and a femme fatale.
Jubal is frequently shown on TV; starring Glenn Ford as Jubal, Valerie French, Ernest Borgnjne and Rod Steiger.
Jubal gets his woman in the end, and rides off into the sunset, accompanied by a very young Charles Bronson, who stood by him during challenging times. |
