You wake up in 1989 what are you doing

Jump to: Newest in thread

By *og-Man OP   Man  over a year ago

somewhere

So you woke up this morning except you've gone through a time warp and woke up in 1989

What are you doing today...

Me probably still dying in bed from last night with my mother coming into my bedroom opening the curtains and window to let out the smell of drink

Hitting Tramps disco bar at 12.30 while pretending to be at mass to keep the mother happy

The 80's were great

I'd most likely be on the big white telephone after a night out at The Coach and Circus Circus after, full pelt on the K cider. I'd still be sleeping but my stepdad had come into the room and threw a glass of water over me and demanded I get up and go to church

Oh I think I completely misunderstood the scenario. I thought you woke up in 1989 as you are in 2022. But everyone's answers seem to be that they woke up as they used to be in 89.

In that case, I am about 2 months old. So I've probably just what my nappy and I'm crying for some milk.

Good thing we don't remember those early years.??????

This post is so surreal as this day in 1989 I was most likely just about to start gaining consciousness in my mother's womb and getting ready to be born

Doing preparatory work for a new position I had just succeeded in getting, after a period of training

However, within two years it had turned into one of the worst nightmarish situations you could ever imagine, that eventually resulted in fatalities.

I cannot disclose any more here; my posting would be wiped. It was horrendous in the end, but in 1989 I was naively optimistic.
