If you are looking to get into the scene then keep an eye out on the forums for social events that you can get verified and get more insight into the community. There's also the Help a Fabber thread where people are helping others get verified over coffee socials.

Cork

Both RVC and Flame have social events in cork, I don't know if there are any social clubs in limerick but that's a good place to start
