Not necessarily.
Behaviour wise there is nothing we do that is not found in the animal Kingdom in some shape or form. Only difference is, we are able to express ideas in a detailed way. And that's down to our extensive vocal noise control ability. That being language. We are very much still a monkey see monkey do species. Try explain a simple engineering idea with just chirps and grunts.

Don't forget eat their own young. Commit r@pe. Even in the gang form.
Oh there is politics too. Some apes go to war. Even have ally troops join against others.
Even cliques have been observed within troop sets. |

Nope..found in the animal kingdom too. Concentrations of fish can destroy a river with their waste.
Nukes are a weapon...to many animal weapons to count..however. does fall in to our sole ability to be able to exchange ideas in detail. But weapons are found in the animal kingdom.

Rulers, ie. Kings & queens and governments.
According to 18th century English philosopher, Thomas Hobbs a life without Rulers would be cruel, brutish and short.
In other words we give over our liberties or freedoms to a ruler for protection from ourselves. |

I need a bit of an explanation on that one, how has our ability to manipulate chemical elements and increase carbon output linked to the activities of other animals?
Do you mean that by the use of language we were able to plan and create which yes you are right.
We have had an impact on the climate of that there is no doubt its like baking a cake on a global level if you add to much of one ingredient you change the composition of the cake.
But you say not necessarily and then talk about language I'm not trying to pick a fight just a bit confused by your statement. |

Other species kill their own in competition for resources. Some kill their own young the big cats and bears are notorious for this. |

The question was..what only exist because of bad human behaviour. The planet has gone through quite a few climate changes before humans ever showed up. Hell, when life popped up it induced a completely new atmosphere.
That we need to exist today. Carbon emission gases etc are not the only thing that can effect climate.
Imagine a new type of bacteria that thrived on sodium chloride that showed up in our oceans. But it has a waste bi product of just chloride. We'd be well and truly fucked. Unlikely..but not impossible

You're listing tools. Which only exists from our ability to express ideas in detail. But some animals do use tool. oh and ants farm (aphids for example) and imprison. Some apes take hostages from other troops. As for close personal protection...umm..ever heard in safety in numbers?..or the herd, the pack, The school.
