Anyone else received a threating message from someone(I'm not going to name profile unless asked) stating that they are fucked, all info has been saved and sent onto pal? I can only think of one couple I messaged about a meet and other than that there is no link to this poster(as far as I'm aware)These guys never answered and are now asking for people to send face pic via KIK. They could be legit but I've reported the individual that has threatened me. |

"If the message was received through the site report it. There's nothing to be gained by posting in the forums as you can't name and shame and admin will close this thread for that reason. "
I've reported it, just wondering if this individual has targeted anyone else. |

Can't say we've ever had that particular message but if we did they would be told where to go. Did have a married local tell us to accept his friend invite or he would show up at Dee's workplace. Funny thing was she hadn't worked in that place or even the county in over 6months |

I did get something similar to this a few Months back. A peculiar message really.
Something along the lines of "that girl in your photo?...well guess what? Her husband knows & we know all about you and your North Dublin swinging clique"
Bizarre really. I'm still close friends with the particular girl. She is not married(never was), nor am I close to geographical location mentioned
I made the mistake of engaging...you know:"I think you must be mistaken", but just got another nonsensical response about 'how my time was nearly up & we're all going to be found out' I'm not sure what the angle was?? - but decided to engage no further (as it wasn't much craic )
Blocked & forgot about it then (though this thread reminded me) |

Unfortunately crap like that does happen on here. Some people are just complete and utter assholes .
When I first joined I had a guy I was chatting to try and get me to meet him or he'd out me to where he thought I worked. He'd pieced together a few bits of info I'd given him and thought he'd worked out where I worked at the time. I called his bluff and told him last thing he would want is to meet me after he just threatened to out me. He apologised and dissappeared off here. He's most likely back on here tho just on a different profile.
But it was a valuable lesson for me and now I don't give out personal info or share face pics early on conversations.
Some people on here are very free with others personal info and pics as well. So I prefer to err on the side of caution now.
In your case op all you can do is report the message and hope it's dealt with. It's a crap thing to happen and why people do it is beyond me. |

Never received any of these!
After there initial threat of exposure, did any of you receive any requests for money, request to meet etc. any bribery or was it all just scare tactics? |

No, nothing like that...but then again I disengaged after 2 messages so not sure what the ultimate goal was.
I got the sense it was someone with maybe too much time on their hands,...but I really don't know. |

Hmmm...I'm thinking attempted BM phishing attempts. Either for cash or a meet. I'd love to get one tbh. I ain't gonna be kink shamed. Probably play along to a point to waste the person's time and or money where appropriate. Least then they are not targeting someone else for a bit. |

Apart from being threatened with a good time I've never received a message like that.
Over the years though I've seen threats that have been sent to others where they had to be taking a scattergun approach as there was nothing in the message that bore the slightest resemblance to the person they were threatening.
I've also seen other messages where I honestly had no idea how the person they were sent to even perceived them as a threat because there was nothing in them that could be read that way.
Jealousy is often the main driver behind crap like this but the smooth operators like to feed their minions well before letting them off the lease and you rarely have to dig very deep or look far from home to find the main culprit. |

I was threatened on kik by a fab member,Obviously nothing can be done as it happened on a different platform, the person in question is a total coward hence threats over social media, if he was a man he'd do it in person, I think he'd run away if I met him in the street |

"Reported and admins seem to have removed the account. Do admins ever interact with the person that made the complaint?"
No they even say that you won't hear anything after you report. |
