Do you keep a diary.....non fab related...just everyday stuff

Did you earlier in life, usually in school...do you still have it..How do you feel when you read it.

I always felt it was a female thing as a teenager....lot of female friends kept one

I always liked the idea of it, but it fizzled out after a couple of days. I was never disciplined enough to keep it up

I never did, kept my thoughts inside my head as my privacy would never have been respected, were my mother to find it

Actually checked it twice because I was afraid of making that error...

I’ve kept journals on and off for most of my life. Found a stack during lockdown and had a right laugh at my teenage self’s ‘drama’ and opinions. Still a fun documentation of life to look back on.

Nowadays I try to sit down once a week and do a little writing and reflection on the week passed …but I miss more weeks than I do it.

Was always too lazy.

Most prolonged diary i took was when I was away travelling.

I keep a fab diary. Not paper cos that’s too complicated. Reminds me of meets, coffees or otherwise. Where we met, a bit of a code of where we went and did.

It’s nice to go back over.

I keep a diary for apts and what I've worked, saves me from double booking which has happened in the past

I tried it years ago when I was going through a particularly difficult time with my mental health cos I thought it would help. It actually only made me dwell on what was bothering me more. I've since discovered that just telling someone you're struggling is a much bigger step to getting better.
