Anyone been to Cap D'agde? What hotels are the best? What ones are luxury? Which ones are affordable? What's it like? What is the atmosphere like? What kind of entertainment is there?

Any advice welcome

There's a few threads about this in The France forum so you'll probably get lots of information there too

Hi, on the FAB forum is a post Cap d Agde visitors listing 2022 ( continuation )

The owners of this thread list the details on people who will be going to Cap during the year.

It might be worth you popping your details on there and make contact with others that are going at the same time as you

I stayed in a hotel on my first visit back in 2007 but since then I have used A & D James Agency to rent an apartment when I go there.

some where near

It's a brilliant place to visit

Stayed in apartment in the village

Expensive for what you get

Compared to other places but other places can't be compared to cap

Outside of staying under canvas, no where in the village will fall into the "affordable" category I'm afraid. We have used the Natureva Spa which isn't too expensive. Somewhere like the nearby Oz hotel is very pricey indeed. Avoid the French school holidays where ever possible! And you can pay a lot for very ordinary accommodation indeed. But you are getting to stay in a very very naughty place that is like nowhere else in the world. We think it is worth it!
