So I've got a question, if I may?
(I'll take your silence as permission to continue)
So as you all know there's the "looked @ me" counter...shall we call it on the home page. Its nice to come in and be greeted with something. So on we go scrolling down to updates to have a little nosy only to find out that you've been lied to and in actually fact.. nobody has looked at you today.  Now I know the option is there to turn off this so that it doesn't show up but surely everyone can't have it turned off.
I do understand that this for the ladies/ couples ect as it will likely only invite unwanted interest. But id be interested to hear the guys input on it too.
So do you hide it are you happy enough to show yourself?... or is fab just lying to us haha

No it’s hidden.
I sometimes need to look at a profile to read my notes and if they’ve seen I’ve looked I get bombarded with messages “are you interested in meeting again?”
Easier to leave it off.
If I’m interested in someone I’ll message them. |

I have it turned off because I used to get messages from people wanting to know why I looked and didn't say hello and on a few occasions told to feck off as we had nothing in common so why was I looking at them?
I have men blocked so they don't show on the looked at me list and 99% of those that do look don't fab or wink or get in touch so it's not really something I worry too much about. |

I think possibly what the OP is asking why the site is telling him that a number of people looked at him but he can't see who?
Seeing who looked at you is a site supporter feature, so the site saying that someone has and you can't see who is them trying to get you to upgrade to paid membership |

We usually have it in stealth mode especially seeing as there's 2 of us looking at profiles - I think it creeps some people out when we look at a profile a few times (when we're back and forth discussing well what do ye make of this lot, worth a wink, a message even  )...but occasionally we, or should I say - I? may want to get noticed to put the feelers out, if you get my drift |

True, it is a site supporter feature.
But in your updates, it also tells you who has looked at your profile as an update.
I just checked mine, and OP is correct - the numbers don't add up...as in I don't see all the profiles who've looked at me in the update but as a site supporter can see who's looked at me and when... |

True, it is a site supporter feature.
But in your updates, it also tells you who has looked at your profile as an update.

I get the site supporter part but if most ppl have it turned off for whatever reason, im guessing being a supporter or not fab doesn't take away someone's privacy .
Just a a side note for ppl who have a certain area on their profile such as idk....from "down the back alley" or "MYOB" or done made up pave name that can show up even if you've hidden yourself.

I have mine set to snoop mode, I look at lots of potential party guests and don't want to be seen doing it as then I'll get messaged.
In fairness though I do love looking at the 'who liked at me' section. So far my count is at 794, I take it as a compliment |

Only flaw in that approach was that our response was generally something alone the lines of ‘if we viewed and didn’t wink or message then we didn’t feel it was a good match. Happy fabbing!’
So, I’d say that it is an approach with a low success rate. Still, it’s fab so you never know your luck |
