Being a decent human being, reading profiles and respecting people's preferences is a must.

Do the above honestly and diligently and you'll not need to worry about Verifications.

In an ideal world that's true but not in this one. Some people just choose not to engage. You'll ever know why though.

It's true, when you're not verified, it's a big red flag, but there are ways of getting past it, of course pure luck in some cases but also:

Be active on the forums, a lot of people mean it when they say personality matters and forums is the best way to sell yourself.

Good profile, I don't put pics up on my profile without asking like 3 or 4 people whether they are good pics or not, dick pics are okay but you need pics to show you are more than a dick.

Events, right now alt desire are doing an event for unverified, once a month you might get people offering to do socials.

Most of these just generally out the horny guys desperate for a fuck, and the guys who have a brain upstairs too.

This and if you get turned down by a person just say thanks, don't be nasty, people talk. I've chatted with guys abd thought ok seems nice, will chance a coffee etc but then have chatted with fab girlfriends and realised that person received nasty messages of the guy.

There's someone for everyone here well so I've been told lol

Not being verified lessens the chances of any sort of meeting ..being verified don't mean a thing , you never see a bad one , wonder why , being verified only means you're real .

Some people think getting verified will give them the keys to the inner sanctum.

In recent times there has been a lot of whinging and moaning in the forums about not being able to get verified and it doesn't seem to register that the more whinging the less chance there is of anyone meeting and verifying.

Especially if it is blatantly obvious that the main reason for meeting is to get that green tick and you aren't really that fussy how you go about it.

There's no point having a verification or two to wave in people's faces if the veneer wears off as soon as you get them.

Don’t blame those who insist on verifications, blame all the unverified profiles that stood those people up.

I've met with someone unverified. I'm not verified either, which doesn't bother me at all. I know I'm a decent person!

Also chat regularly with a really nice, also unverified guy.

Personality and respect are more important that verifications, in my opinion.

Very true. We estimate that we’ve been stood up by 90% of unverified we arranged to meet over the years and around 10% of verified. That’s the experience that has influenced our unapologetic approach towards to the importance of verifications.
