I was talking about there profile’s,reading them and how they describe what they like and what they want,I never said I was over there experiencing it,and not saying I’m correct in what I’m saying just asking what people think,full of shit for asking what people think,which you never answered lol |

Ther is some great Irish profiles and some great English profiles just like there are some crap ones. Some are open about they like and some are here to find put what they like.
I always why people get so hung up on other peoples profiles, way I see its their profile their " shop window " if they want to leave it blank that's OK, if they dress their window up all shiny and glittery that's OK too.
Its when you enter the shop and decide whether to stay is what's important  |

Long before fab. I swung both here and in the UK (5 years) and there's very little difference. The only difference is population size and anonymity that having a 70 odd million population gives. Oh and the number of full time clubs in the UK that no papers or busybodies care about. |

Who really cares ..I for one don't, it's all about looking forward to logging on , but l get your point of view , if someone wants to talk to you at the start they will , if not they won't.  ..no matter where they're from. |

Can’t argue I’ve been with amazing fabbers here maybe I’m just attracted to English fabbers because they are out off reach,trust me Irish fabbers are unreal also |

They seem a bit more open over there with regards facepics and being open about swinging... I guess they are a bit less worried about shame in their local community than we are here. I'm sure (as others have said) that population size is the biggest factor though. |

One of the differences we see on the forums is if someone posts a thread about a particular kink/topic they like on the UK forum, the general response is from others who like the same kink and they engage positively in the thread.
Doing the same thing on the Irish thread leads to derailing and piss taking....generally by the same people.
Of course it's not always that straight forward but it's true for the most part. |

I've seen numerous Irish posters claiming the Irish forums are nasty and argumentative and closed minded and that's why they only contribute to the Lounge.
Then you pop into the Lounge and lo and behold we have nasty argumentative closed minded threads and posters and those same Irish fabbers playing their part.
Trolls are much easier to spot here because they aren't as sophisticated and it's cheaper here as well as you get to live rent free in some people's heads. |

Much broader range of topics and a very much more broadminded group of users on the English forums. Same small group of individuals are constant on the Irish forums sniping at users the dont appove of etc and that does not happen on the UK forums, I never PM anyone yet several Irish profiles have blocked me but zero blocks from UK users that I know of, all in all they are much more approachable, the forums are much more fun and light hearted. |

How would you explain why dozens of regular posters have left the site blaming the abuse they received on those forums or are refusing to use the forums at all because of the constant sniping and nastiness if the "English" fab is so much better?
Does being approachable account for the same level of information sharing and outing people in social media that has also driven people away or is that acceptable because it's more fun over there? |

How long a user is on the site or how often they have posted on the forums doesn't mean people can derail or make fun of the thread. Intentional derailing of a thread was against the forum rules the last I checked.

I have been to a few clubs in uk people are a lot more open there

The point being that there is virtually no difference in the forums or the fab experience. Good and bad in both. There is obviously a much bigger club and social scene over there but in general is just an XL version of the Irish experience. |

You can’t really compare the two mostly because of the difference in the 2 countries,I.e 60 odd million V 4 million or maybe 5.i think Irish people are more guarded to whom they meet as everyone nearly knows someone from your locality in Ireland and I suppose equally there is plenty of time wasters on both sides.happy fabbing |

We think the UK are just the same but with the luxury of so much more animosity.
When we are on holidays abroad we are completely at ease simply because in Ireland everyone is only 2 or 3 people away from knowing each other.
