You dont often see them these days, but they're used on aircraft. "
They were used to protect furniture from the macasser oil that people used to smear liberally on their hair; I remember seeing them used on sofas for that purpose, especially in country houses! |

I remember this absolutely rediculous trend of wearing disco boppers ...basically a hairband with 2 red shiny balls on a coiled spring which bopped ....I begged my mother to buy me this and they were not cheap !!!! |
