Had a convo with my friend the last night about how many men in straight marriages are actually gay or bi and that their other half have no idea? I just think it's not fair on the other half as they are in a false relationship, just my thoughts

Isn't this the same as any kind of marriages on here no matter the sexuality is , being unfaithful and breaking vows is breaking vows right?

Yeah that's true, my emphasis was on the fact that the man is gone to extreme lengths to mask their sexuality which is adds insult to injury

I think a lot of times sexuality can be confusing and people can marry young before they really know themselves. They don't even realise that they have feelings like that until they are already married. It must be incredibly difficult. The hope would be that they are able to communicate with their partners and work towards a way forward that everyone is happy with.

There are lots of variation on this. How about a man who craves to be in a bdsm relationship that his wife isn't into but otherwise is perfectly happy in his marriage?

Perhaps there are also wives who want to be with women and feel they can’t bring this up in their relationship. Or people who are polyamorous in similar situations. It’s not just men.

I would hazard a guess that some men are with other men because they may not be getting anything at home and it's easier to find a guy to play with ..

As for keeping it a secret from their wife that's the same as if they we're cheating on them with a woman imo .

Cheating is cheating but if they have exhausted all other options in their marriage then it's a necessity , whether it be male or female . Everyone / most everyone needs affection/sexual needs met , again just my opinion .

At the end of the day if there is a fundamental difference in a marriage where they can't meet each others needs then that's "irreconcilable differnces" and grounds for divorce.

Not everyone wants or can afford to divorce

"Not everyone wants or can afford to divorce "

I'm not sure anyone really wants to divorce, it's a question of whether someone and their husband/wife have irreconcilable differences or not. Many peoole who can't afford the divorce itself just move on and don't actually do the legal bit for a long while.

I would imagine that the majority of single 'straight' men on this site are actually married and therefore being dishonest with their partners.

Within swing we have found that all bisexual men play with the full consent of their partners.

So bi men have consent and the straight guys are cheating? That can't be right surely.
