Don't have options. I have an hour's commute each way to work every day. There is no direct public transport route so that journey would involve 3 or 4 seperate bus routes and take at least 2 hours each way to travel 40 miles. Even with high fuel prices it's still the cheapest and only way to travel. |

Same as RB....cant do without a car for work and life
The only thing I do is keep an eye on prices in petrol stations and shop in the cheapest usually
I've stopped going to circle K over their blatant robbing of customers a few weeks ago

Think price increase is making me drive smarter for sure... like is the trip really necessary, can i combine it with something else, like shopping on way home from work. But like so many we are very much tied to needing cars for work. The whole Work from home seems even more attractive now even with out covid. Wish more employers could see that and allow wfh more. |

I have 5 diesel business vehicles to keep on the road. Its really tough. Unfortunately most trips are for essential business purposes and so I have to just suck it up and pay. The few small local nonessential trips are a drop in the ocean. |

Have to feel sorry for businesses with fleets to keep on the road. Not like they can just decide not to travel. Its giing to stretch some to the limit over the next few months and beyond. |

My daily 'commute' is served exceptionally well by public transport, so although my car is taxed, insured and MOT'd (NCT'd) I have temporarily ended my use of it.
Furthermore, I have a card which gives me free travel throughout Ireland; which I greatly appreciate. |
