Looking for some advice on titanium dental implants. I have all my own teeth, but one of my lower front teeth I had a root canal treatment on over thirty years ago is beginning to fail.
The price of treatment in Turkey looks very tempting, although I've heard of several horror stories. Although some people were delighted with the service provided by a Turkish dentist.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

Due to an accident with a three a bout which we wont discuss i had to have two implants fitted in place of my upper front teeth, I priced an irish dentist here in limerick and I nearly had to be readmitted to the regional hospital with the shock of the price. We found a clinic in Wilton in cork that time it was trading as Hungarian dental clinic not sure what it trades as now but they were nearly 2k cheaper. I wdnt for a perliminary check up to see if it was a goer and there and then they outlined the treatment and price which you payed in stages as and when u got tge treatment done so i got as far as having the implants fitted that day and nearly twobyears later i returned to have the teeth fitted.
They were brilliant and the care and attention was second to none the information provided eased a nervous CJ (think fullblown wuss) i cant recomend them strongly enough and it elimanated the need to travel abroad and they opperate under irish medical rules and regs give em a look up |

My friends just had surgery in Turkey and I was her companion .
The level of service she received was amazing and the coordinators were brilliant .
I’d say do your homework on the clinic you choose and check out the dental reviews .
My other friend is going over in June for dental treatment . |

Im a dental nurse and i wouldnt advise going to turkey to get them done. If and when they start to cause pain you will struggle to find a dentist in the UK who will help you. |

Everywhere has good and bad dentists. Including Ireland. But no matter how good a dentist is, they all will have things go wrong. Also there is usually a reason things are very cheap and this is often at the expense of quality and ethics. So if and when things do go wrong, who do you go to? There will be very few dentists locally who are willing to look after another dentist’s problems. Too much risk of getting sued! Dental tourism is definitely cheaper but a very risky business. |

I don't think it's necessary to go in Turkey, you have some really decent dentists in Croatia and Hungary, trust me they have really high standards and you'll get absolutely amazing smile comparing to Irish rip off dentists |
