i travel all over |
Have been chatting to a number of people recently who are either taking a break from the site or have stopped meeting . Some are doing so because its less fun than it was and some because they want to give a 1on 1 a go.
Would be interested in your views regarding
1. Have you left and come back or have you stopped meeting ?
2. Do you ‘yo yo’ and is there anything you use to stop you coming back immediately ? An app or working on reasons which drove you here .
3. Do you think there are personalities who would find it harder to leave fab ? Perhaps the thrill seeking , high libido or the easily bored ?

This is my third reincarnation in four years. Now if I get pissed off and want a break I use the Stay Focused app. I can lock myself out of various websites or apps for a certain time frame and when it's on the strict settings there's no way around it. It does help me as sometimes logging in is just a bad habit. |

I've taken breaks a few times, logged out for a month every now and than. At moment I'm.kind of disillusioned with the whole thing so have taken a step back from attending socials, as for meets I've had 2 this year so wouldn't really consider myself active.
A detox from social media and the sort is good for the mind |

I joined Fab and became a site supporter at about the time that Covid was emerging, after having been a member of another site with which I was dissatisfied, for several reasons.
Fab is a much better site, especially in the way it is administered; and I believe it will meet my needs in the long-term.
Covid has been a very difficult time for every aspect of society and life will not properly settle for at least twelve months, possibly longer.
It would be inappropriate to abandon Fab prematurely |

Im here over 7yrs never closed the profile but take long extended breaks from here every so often anything from a few weeks to think the longest was 5/6mts..I get bored easily so when i feel that coming on i take myself away from here,it's the same aul shit on here and that gets tedious..  |

I am really only here for the forums tbh ,l have no interest, none. in dating or meeting but stranger things have happened , if l " click " with somebody or visa versa , great , if not , no sleep lost .l do not take things seriously here , it's the worst thing a person can do is Take things seriously, l have left this site and come back but my personal situation allows such , if l leave it's just because lm bored stiff of the forums ,it's the same meat different gravy situation and can , believe it or not , get boring sometimes , during Covid it was ok as the World itself was shut down but now things are opening up again and the Summer time is here so maybe will not be here as much , l don't know , who cares tbh BUT those that are here are here for different reasons and leave for the same different reasons. |

I've found it all fairly rubbish post-covid here to be brutally honest. Nothing against the sound heads on here of which there are plenty. The forums are the main thing keeping me coming back lately.
My site supporter is up in about 6 weeks and for various reasons I'll be outta here for the foreseeable... whether I return or not some day remains to be seen... |

Pretty much this, though I am here long before Covid and will be for long after and I do have a vague interest in meeting someone who understands my situation but, other than that, I have a lot of sympatico with this post  |

Took a break for about a month in the time ive been on here been here since 2010 or maybe before that havent met anyone in a good while and not really bothered at minute to meet people unless a social coffee thats about it off on hols next week first break away in 4 years long overdue |

Have had a few different profiles over the years we ve been here and have taken a few time outs too when we felt it getting stale .Stopped officially meeting just before covid raised its ugly head, for our own personal reasons .Honestly not sure if we ll renew our membership again tho but never say never ! |

Even when I'm not meeting (herself) for whatever reason, I'm here for entertainment in the Forum. I've kept my single's profile, it's hidden while I'm more actively engaging on the forum on this profile and open to socials, gatherings, parties and meets with my better half .
I/we don't take Fab too seriously, it's a bit of fun, distraction, sometimes a social outlet, bit of perving - sure who wants a break from the perving alone - real life entertainment, my own personal Fair City, EastEnders with a bit of nude eyecandy along the way |

Just back yesterday after a 5 month break. I take regular breaks as I find the site addictive and leave mainly for 2 reasons. Firstly that I have found a regular lover and secondly to prove to myself that I'm not addicted. But I always come back Lol |

I have left totally a few times and was recently considering it again but instead I choose breaks.
Also yes I do mostly one on one's unless at a party where I have a planned meet or unplanned sometimes.
Yes there are definitely those personalities for sure and also the addiction side to it is there aswell. For me I prefer to try get a good work ,life, play balance going only currently not so much sex when life takes over. |
