Call her Ma, but when chatting to my brother or sister about her it's either Ma or Mammy.

My kids started that,I said no I wanted to be called dad and not by my first name

They rang me ma...asked her my middle name and started to call me that instead

Now 5 yrs later, all their friends call me by that name,my user name on netflix,Disney and Amazon is my middle name and sometimes even my parents use it

I pretend I hate it but I don't really

For me its always Ma or Mam. Depends on the context of the conversation!..

The kids say Mam or Mammy, but they're small. I think Ma often starts in early teens!

Always been Ma and Da growing up but sounds weird hearing a man in his 40's or 50's calling his mother Ma! So it's first names now. And always a hug and kiss when leaving...I'm a big sap like that!!

My mum used to call her parents ma and da but didn't like to be called ma herself.

Never heard anyone using the word mammy until Daniel O'Donnell did.

It was only ever mum, mummy or ma around here.

Mam or Mammy to her face. Me Ma, or Me Mam behind her back

Would get frozen with a glare if I tried Mom, Mummy or Mother
