Been chatting to a guy on here for a while. We talk about meeting. I ask to meet him for a chat to see if we are both interested in taking things further. I sugest a night, doesn't suit him, next one doesn't suit me. Next thing is "what about a car meet" I call him tacky and in return get abuse and blocked. I just wanted a chat to see if we were compatible(obviously we're not). The sad thing is he's not the only guy to act like this. So many guys seem to think you meeting for a chat/coffee is guaranteed sex in their car after. Single guys wonder why they get a bad name???  |

I was chatting to a woman. Wanted to meet for a coffee. Suggested several times, none suited. Eventually I suggested that really maybe she liked the idea of talking about a meet rather than a meet (I had a lot of texts from her wondering what we would do if we met).
In return I got abuse and blocked.
No wonder single women in here get a bad name??? |

3 times a certain lady in here arranged a meet with me and 3 times she cancelled approx 1 hr beforehand , deleting her profile as she went only to reappear a day or 2 later with bullshit reasons why she left .. Just wanted to add my two pennys worth- yes there are probably just as many crazy women as men, just like there's lots of horny decent ones of both sexes.
But (and, like my own, it's a big butt) women will always have the control over meets. That's why a woman moans on here about a guy who cancels 1 meet while the guys are complaining about women who cancel 3 or 4..and they'd probably give them a 5th chance if they thought there was even a slim possibility of a meet!

Well I think most of us are in agreement .. Whether it be males , females or couples .. There's a few on here with more issues than the magazine stand in Easons , but that said the nice people outweigh them |

Some and I repeat, some!!!!! of the women on fab think they are perfect and they are really not perfect at all. they punch above their weight and wen they are told that the male isn't interested they take it bad and post about it. after a whole lot of insults l8r it leaves you with the dreaded block button lol just accept it and move on like everyone else does. Obviously not everyone on the site is willing nor wants to meet you. Obviously there's certain men on here too that are the same but I'd just like to point out that women do it just as often as the men that they complain about. (Fact) rant over!!!

I think to say that someone is punching above their weight is an awful thing to say about anyone...apart from a rare few non of us are model material, but we're all here to have adult fun with like minded people surely.
But having read the original post again, thats not what the OP had been saying.
The block button is there for a reason and thank god as things can turn very nasty on here...but for someone to throw their dummy out of the pram in a childish way and then hide behind a block says more about them really. |

I was just stating facts that some women on here are portraying themselves as great swinging icons but in natural fact they are far from it. They like to put men down and when in natural fact they can be every bit as bad as the men they so often complain about. |

It's only fair to point out that sheer economic 'Supply & demand,' dictates that women can afford to be more selective. Men outnumber women on here by a huge percentage. Add to that fact, that each woman will receive a significantly higher number of messages. There are those members who simply cannot understand why they don't get a response. well if I had to sit through 20 messages per day (I wish) would I really bother replying to each one I'm NOT interested in? The time it takes to; read the message, check the profile and compose a response x 20, sure you'd never be done. So when members get frustrated and continue to send messages, which aren't being replied to then the recipient can only really resort to blocking them as clearly the sender isn't picking up on the obvious.
I think I will impose a 2 message rule on myself. Send 2, get no response, move on and don't bother her / them again. I'll take no offence, just accept it. But by becoming a pest you loose any chance of getting on.
I think that in normal circumstances it's polite to respond, even with a, "Sorry, not interested." But this isn't exactly a normal situation on here.

I totally agree, we do try to reply to all our messages, but sometimes they are ridiculous, we have had ones that just say 'x'. That has to be the least amount of effort required to do anything ever lol. What would one even reply to that?
I find on here people can be very harsh a lot of the time, I used to get frustrated with messages myself, but I suppose what is the point in that really. You are expecting a standard of communication from someone you don't know. Not really that much point in getting angry and frustrated but I suppose it is hard not to, we are only human!! |
