People who read profiles first, make sure they match our preferences and send thought out message (anything that isn't forward, creepy or repetitve/boring) or genuinely funny joke tend to catch our eye  |

A profile catches my eye more than a message. If the profile doesn't interest me then I may not read the message .
I don't get a lot of messages as I keep filters tight but I look at profiles before I answer and if the profile really doesn't appeal I may not even read the message . |

Im the same as Bo filters set as tight as a Cavans man wallet so i never get many messages,on the one's that i do get is what's on the profile that catches my eye..There bio and how much of an effort with it and pics if they don't interest me generally I won't open the message simply because if they can't make an effort with there profile they generally don't make one with messages  |

Yep, those with no photos and no detail in their profile. Even worse if they have the "been here before, know the story" bullshite and then a blank profile. Some are even site supporters, tells its own story.
We won't ever interact with those accounts, wether it's men, women or couples. |

I concur. Messages don’t mean much if the profile is crap. One liner messages with zero effort usually come from one liner profiles with zero effort . They get zero attention from me.
Maybe look at the profiles of other men? See what they have up? |

This. I'm not going to conduct an in-depth interview with every man who messages me to discover if I'm interested or not. If the profile is blank or bland, I just delete. |

Same.
When I get a message, if it catches my eye with the code word, it means they’re read my profile. I’ll look at the profile (checking height, location, age, smoker, then bio). If that checks out, and the message is good, I might reply if I like the pics too. Otherwise it’s 99% a delete. |

I always try to read the profile and tailor my message to the person. I never message if I have that "didn't respond" warning and still, I don't get many replies, I think it's due to maybe how my profile is written or my physical looks |
