So it can't be all doom and gloom

The sun is shining which cheers everyone up

What's cheering you up

Kilkenny, but Dublin is more fun

Just remember that you're in a universe bigger and older than you can fathom, and made up of trillions of cells yourself all working away behind the scenes to keep you alive, just so you can complain about mornings.

Why are there no emojis to display proper grumpiness?

That's making me even more grumpy

Food on my table

A job I enjoy doing

Few good friends

A huge sofa

A cozy bed

Sun's out today

Ah I know I made a grrr post but life is much better than it was.

I'm loving being back in the countryside with beaches and mountains all a ten min walk away.

My landlord doesn't mind that I have pets and my rent is cheap as fuck.

I get to see my family on at least a weekly basis rather than a few times a year. Including my nephew who is just hilarious.

If I could just have less stress at work I'd be happy out!

So yeah! There's my reasons to be cheerful!

I bought a bunch of new lingerie last week and it arrived to day. Feeling ever so sex kitten tonight lounging in it.

Newry Down

I love this time of year:

The weather improves and that little bit of spring warmth brings my fruit trees into bloom in fits and starts; firstly my very early Jargonelle pear and at the end of the spring, my late apple-that can never be bought in a retail fruit shop-Ashmeads Kernel, the creme de la creme of all apples!

In between these two all the others come into bloom progressively: cherries, pears, plums, gages, nuts, etc. A tasty cornucopia.
