Have you ever used a ouija board?

Yes many times. I've done some ghost hunting. But the ouji board just doesn't work, there's some good alternatives to it such as the pendulum that seem to work better for the purpose of communicating with spirits.
For clarification I am a sceptic but find the idea of ghosts and demonology fascinating and at the very least ghost hunting is good fun with friends. I have also seen what could be referred to as ghost sightings but nothing grounded in science.

I have been part of a paranormal group before. I've never done a ouija board but I have done glass variation of it and it worked really well. You can only do yes of no answers or ask them to point to someone for clarification.
I don't know if I would do the ouija board as you have less control over spirits you can invite in. You're open a channel and you need to make sure you close it off correctly. You're doing the same with the glass but you're inviting spirits with good intentions and ones who ate connected to you. |

When I was younger we went for a walk in a small forestry type of thing near our house and we saw one carved into a tree trunk. There was also things hanging from a tree nearby but we didn’t know what they were. We shit ourselves and legged it. Developers built houses on that site a while later. |

Sounds like an old Indian burial site to me.

If only ouijy boards did really work,
It would be great to be able to communicate with the dead and in a way do away with grief, people wouldn't really be gone then.
But they dont.
And that's a fact |

A guy in my class at school, and thereafter, was really into ouija boards, and told some frightening stories about these boards for contacting the spirit world; but now I regard them as Mumbo-Jumbo.
That guy became a recluse in later life and had a breakdown as far as I am aware; he was also into Tarot cards and unusual therapies for exorcism. |

They use to be made by Waddingtons same crowd that made Monopoly.
You could buy them in Easons back in the 70s apparently before the church got them banned.
And yes I saw one it was in actual box with waddingtons on the side, friends dad had one utterly bizarre. |

I'll stick with my horror film cliche.
Fairy rings just couldn't be scary with a name like that |
