Seeing as there's no pros answering, I'll give my personal insights...for the record, I'm no pro but have enjoyed pegging one or two partners 
It really depends on your "experience" too...
If you haven't been on the receiving end of toys, fingers, dildos etc - start small (just playing, not pegging), with plenty of lube, lots of feedback, talking, communicating what feels good and what doesn't - really important not to hold back because that's what makes the difference between great fun or a negative experience (for extra comfort make sure to clear yourself out thoroughly beforehand).
