I think I read that signing up with a porn distribution company was they only way at the time to be able to legally control the distribution of it due to copyright laws. I think that was after failed legal battles to stop the distribution of it as private citizens.

I’d have sympathy for anyone who’s intimate and private moments are leaked without consent regardless of what they did about it ya know ? My sympathies lie with both women because it’s exploitation and the portrayal of a horrible situation like that without someone’s consent bothers me and feels off |

The series has opened up for me what actually happened if its based on true events.
I assumed that the tape was stolen from the house over the last few years ....didn't know the backround to the robbery at all or how the tape got out

I've not seen the show but I hope people look past the entertainment value of it and start to see that these things aren't just shits and giggles and that people's lives and emotions really do get ruined. I hope people can develop some more compassion for misfortunes who get exploited and violated in this way. |
