Contact the new Russian embassy on Ailesbury Road, Dublin 4.
Seriously, it's a dreadful situation that ordinary decent citizens have had their lives disrupted, for the umpteenth time in their history; the 1917 revolution and its awful aftermath; Stalin's 20mn famine deaths caused by farming reforms through collectivisation, and Hitler's annihilist Lebensraum policy aka Operation Barbarossa.
And now Putin's invasion; it is no wonder the Russian army is meeting such resistance including actions by armed civilians.
This is the problem caused by having valuable mineral resources, in a strategic geographical location. |

"How do you go about adapting Ukrainian refugees.
Are you seriously asking about that right now when people die over there? "
To be fair, I don’t think it was meant to sound like that, replace the word “adapting” with “helping” and read it again, that’s the way I took it….. |

I have been lambasted in the past, on this site, for being excessively pedantic; I interpreted the OP's posting as meaning: the offering of assistance (to Ukrainian refugees), which is a laudable, humanitarian sentiment. |

"They need all the help they can get. We will be offering them a place to stay if and when they need it."
This current situation in Ukraine has the potential to become the greatest refugee crisis in western Europe since the 1939-45 war: millions of displaced people fleeing a totally unwarranted conflict; many of whom will gravitate to the peacefulness of these shores! |

They are actively asking people to help home Ukrainian refugees all day on the radio. I've heard it several times.
I'm not in a position to do it unfortunately my house is too small and I just don't have the room but I would do this in a heartbeat if I were able. |
