Got a wink from someone who's filters don't allow a message. I thought it a bit strange, but I'm flattered all the same. TY

I assumed that was the case too, that a wink to someone lets them bypass your filters

A wink is as good as a nod to a blind man

Any winks I've given have been returned with a message. Which is why I rarely wink

Some winks are an invite to initiate contact if your not sure the age criteria etc can be met. Its an easy way to see if filters would block a message, there is nothing worse that agonising for hours composing a humerous flattering intresting message just to be blocked by a filter that contradicts the profile

Just wink them back and they might message you.

"Just wink them back and they might message you."

Don't mind if they do or not, just pleased someone bothered lol. They might have hidden their profile for a variety of reasons, and I'm entirely fine with that. Nothing worse than messages from someone you don't want to get messages from.

You can still message a hidden profile.

Nope. Learned that last week. Luckily we realised our mistake and sent a mail.
