No doubt a similar post existed before but, as a newbie, with little to no experience (and therefore veris) just wondering what’s the best way to navigate the world of fab and gain that trust and recognition of genuinity?

I Completely understand the (frustrating) nature of the “chicken and egg” scenario re verifications. Couple that with the additional “crutch” of being a single guy…. I’d love to hear any advice / suggestions from the more tenured people of fab..

And hopefully one day I’ll be able to impart similar to some other newbies

TIA

somewhere

Take part in the forums..its a good way to get your name and profile known

Look for threads that offer unverified people a chance to have a social coffee with a verified profile and put your name down for it

Get involved in the forums it's a great way to let your personality shine through

Check out Red Velvet Club in Cork profile I went there as a newbie and they were so kind and welcoming

Be prepared to put the efforts in to get verified. I once had a guy travel up and down from Cork to Kildare in one day just to get advice and a coffee verify

Be sound sane and respectful to the ladies and couples here.

Check out the post entitled "South/West MandG March 19th"

Attend that and try to arrange to meet people on the night. Baptism of fire but if you are sociable it will be worth it

Thanks _ofusplus

Yeah I guess part of it is building up the “nerve” to attend one of these events - especially if I’m to go on my own…. How acceptable are they of single guys attending tho?

Loads of single guys go and they try to get a good male:female balance. Maybe message the profile rather than comment in the thread
